The lemongrass and bergamot hit bright and fresh, but it’s that orris butter smoothing everything out that really got me. Wore it through a hot afternoon and the jasmine and sandalwood settled into something soft and elegant without ever turning powdery or loud.

The opening is a bit sharp for my taste, but the dry-down melts into a soft, creamy sandalwood that lasts well into the evening. I do wish the jasmine were more noticeable, but the orris butter gives it a lovely, powdery finish that feels elegant without being heavy.
