Parfümeurin Natasha Cote-Mouzannar ließ sich von ihren zarten Erinnerungen an frühe Frühlingstage in Kanada inspirieren, an denen sie Ahornbäume anzapfte, Saft sammelte und nach Tradition Ahornsirup herstellte. Die perfekte Darstellung eines Zuckenhauses, tief in einem Eichenwald gelegen.

The roasted praline and Peru balsam keep this warm the whole way through, and by hour three it's mostly cedarwood and patchouli on my skin. Wore it to dinner and my wife kept leaning in closer.

The black pepper and clove hit first and keep the roasted praline from turning syrupy, which is exactly what I wanted. On my skin it settles into cedar and a soft smoky balsam after about an hour, and it's still faintly there the next morning.

I was expecting pure sweetness but the black pepper and clove keep it interesting, and the cedarwood drydown lasts a solid six hours on my skin. The praline is warm without being syrupy.
