Descripción Le Cri de la Lumière es un floral aldehídico magnífico y extenso con un aire decididamente moderno. Con un núcleo de lirio y rosa, Le Cri sigue el camino consagrado de iconos como Chanel No 5 y Arpège. A pesar de estas influencias clásicas, la fragancia nunca parece anticuada, quizás debido al sublime efecto helado de los aldehídos o al destello metálico de la rosa. Su pariente más cercano es probablemente Chanel No 18, un exclusivo de boutique construido en torno a un acorde central de rosa, lirio y ambreta, aunque Le Cri resulta un poco más formal.

The rose and orris together smell like clean skin rather than a bouquet, which I wasn't expecting. It stays close for the first hour, then the musk and woods creep in and it just gets warmer. Wore it to a dinner and kept catching it on my scarf the next morning.

I expected the aldehydes to hit sharp, but they soften into a powdery orris and rose within twenty minutes, which is lovely. Projection is quieter than I'd like for the price, though it clings close to the skin for a good six hours.
