I was worried the birch and cedar leaves would make this too sharp, but they just keep the leather from going sweet. It sits close to the skin for the first hour, then the patchouli and benzoin push it into this smoky-resin thing that lasts all day on my sweater.

The tobacco and vanilla drydown is what sold me — it's warm without being sweet, almost like worn leather gloves. I get a solid six hours on skin and it lingers on my scarf for days.

The birch and cedar leaves keep this from turning into a sweet vanilla bomb, which is exactly what I wanted. It wears close for the first hour, then the leather and amber push through and it lasts the rest of the day on my wrist.
