Description Il y a bien longtemps, avant que le Portugal ne soit le Portugal, le roi maure Ibn-Almundim régnait sur Chelb, en Algarve. Revenant victorieux de ses conquêtes, il ramena de nombreux captifs, dont Gilda, une belle reine des terres du Nord. D'abord comblée, Gilda devint pourtant de plus en plus triste, aspirant intensément à la blancheur de la neige. Les guérisseurs ne parvinrent pas à dissiper sa mélancolie, jusqu'à ce que, conseillé par une femme mystérieuse, le roi fasse fleurir la vallée d'amandiers. Lorsque Gilda vit la vallée couverte de fleurs blanches, sa joie revint. Depuis lors, l'Algarve demeure le royaume des fleurs d'amandier, gardienne de cette histoire ancienne. Chemin d'Amande est une brise chaude de blé, teintée de la blancheur d'une amande fraîchement cueillie. Sa douce chaleur porte des notes d'une tendresse enveloppante.
