Descrizione Le Cri de la Lumière è un magnifico e ampio floreale aldeidato dal fascino decisamente moderno. Con un cuore di iris e rosa, Le Cri segue il percorso collaudato di icone come Chanel No 5 e Arpège. Nonostante queste influenze classiche, la fragranza non risulta mai datata, forse grazie al sublime effetto glaciale delle aldeidi o al timbro metallico della rosa. Il suo parente più prossimo è probabilmente Chanel No 18, un'esclusiva boutique costruita attorno a un accordo centrale di rosa, iris e ambrette, anche se Le Cri appare leggermente più formale.

The rose and orris together smell like clean skin rather than a bouquet, which I wasn't expecting. It stays close for the first hour, then the musk and woods creep in and it just gets warmer. Wore it to a dinner and kept catching it on my scarf the next morning.

I expected the aldehydes to hit sharp, but they soften into a powdery orris and rose within twenty minutes, which is lovely. Projection is quieter than I'd like for the price, though it clings close to the skin for a good six hours.
