Descrizione La fava tonka è un ingrediente ricco di contrasti, a volte ricorda la vaniglia e la pelle, a volte le mandorle, e talvolta rivela persino sfumature cioccolatose. Velvet Tonka è caratterizzato dalla sua trilogia di fava tonka, fior d'arancio e mandorla. Sulla pelle, avvolge come una prelibatezza orientale spolverata di zucchero a velo. La fava tonka balsamica è adornata con mandorle e petali di rosa per un tocco vellutato, e con un accenno di tabacco assoluto per conferirle una sensazione mielata. Nella base, note avvolgenti di legno di amyris lattiginoso si dispiegano, esaltate da ambroxan e vaniglia assoluta per un'incomparabile vellutatezza e sensualità. Velvet Tonka è un tributo alle origini marocchine del fondatore David Benedek e all'iconografia associata alla regione attraverso i suoi sapori e i suoi paesaggi, come una dolce e indulgente brezza che arriva direttamente dalle montagne dell'Atlante.

The Balkan tobacco absolute keeps this from being just another sugary vanilla scent, and the almond note in the opening is gorgeous. Wore it to dinner and could still smell the tonka bean on my scarf the next morning.

I was expecting a heavy sweet gourmand but the rose absolute keeps it surprisingly elegant. On me it opens with that almond and orange blossom before the vanilla absolute takes over hours later. My partner keeps leaning in when I wear it, so that's a good sign.
