The orange blossom absolute gives this a bright opening that settles into the rose de mai within about twenty minutes. I've worn it to dinner twice and gotten stopped both times asking what it was.

I was worried the jasmine absolute would turn this into a loud white floral, but the orris and ambrette keep it soft and powdery on my skin. Six hours in and the narcissus is still faintly there, which never happens with florals on me.

The rose de mai and Turkish rose here are the real deal — deep and slightly honeyed rather than that soapy rose you get in cheaper florals. I wore it to a dinner and could still smell the ambrette and orris base on my wrist the next morning.
