Wore this to a dinner and someone stopped me to ask what it was. The rosa Damascena and bergamot keep it bright for the first hour, then it settles into this warm sandalwood and vanilla base that lasts well into the night.
The Egyptian jasmin absolute is the real star here, blooming warm and honeyed without ever turning soapy. It dries down to this soft sandalwood and vanilla hum that I kept catching on my scarf hours later. Wore it to dinner and got asked twice what I had on.
I was worried the patchouli would overpower everything, but it just settles underneath the florals and keeps them from going syrupy. Six hours in, the vanilla and musk base is still humming along on my wrist.
