Smells like a sun-warmed fig tree by the sea, but it’s the drydown that got me—creamy almond and tonka keep it cozy long after the citrus fades. I keep catching whiffs on my scarf two days later and smiling.
The fig and tonka bean sweeten it just enough that the almond and pink pepper keep it from getting cloying. I keep reaching for it on cool evenings, and the dry-down lasts well past dinner.
The cedar and gaiac wood give it a dry, almost smoky backbone that keeps the sweet almond and tonka from going cloying. I sprayed it on at noon and could still catch whiffs on my scarf after dinner, which never happens with most of my collection.
