Lilac Brûlée • FZOTIC - Bruno Fazzolari

I was a little nervous about the rhubarb note, but it melts beautifully into the creamy vanilla and sandalwood base. The lilac stays bright and fresh for hours without turning powdery or soapy on my skin. This is the gourmand I've been hunting for that still feels elegant.

The marzipan and lilac combo is what got me—it’s sweet but the rhubarb keeps it from being cloying. I sprayed it on at noon and could still catch the creamy sandalwood base on my scarf past dinner. Such a cozy, weirdly elegant gourmand.

Smells like a fancy bakery in the spring, the lilac and rhubarb cut through the creamy vanilla so it never gets too heavy. It lasted a good seven hours on my skin, and the dry-down is this warm cinnamon-sandalwood thing that's really comforting.
