It opens with this almost-earthy mushroom note that somehow melts into the sweetest chestnut and orange blossom, so it feels cozy but never heavy. The cashmeran keeps it warm on my skin for a solid six hours, and I keep catching whiffs of that pluot sweetness hours later.
The blood orange and pluot give it a juicy tartness that keeps the chestnut from turning too heavy. I get the mushroom note as a weirdly earthy sweetness that lingers for hours, and the cashmeran wraps everything in a soft, warm glow. It’s unlike anything else in my collection.
I was skeptical about a mushroom note in perfume, but the chestnut and pluot make it surprisingly cozy and warm. It wears close to the skin and lasts a solid six hours on me, which feels just right for this kind of scent. The blood orange brightens it just enough to keep it from turning too heavy.
