The tea note here isn’t sharp or astringent—it’s warm and rounded, like sipping bergamot with a spoonful of tonka sweetness underneath. It lasts most of my workday on skin, settling into a cozy, slightly powdery drydown that keeps making me sniff my wrist.
I was hesitant about gourmands being too sweet, but the maté and tonka bean balance the bergamot tea perfectly—it's warm and dry, not sugary. This is my third wear and I keep catching soft, comforting whiffs on my scarf hours later.
I was expecting a straightforward tea scent but the maté and tonka bean give it this warm, almost smoky sweetness I can’t stop sniffing. Lasts a solid five hours on my skin, which is rare for me. It’s my new go-to when I want to feel a bit mysterious.
