The malt note here is dark and almost savory, giving the mandarin and violet an unexpected smoky edge that keeps pulling me back to my wrist. It sits close to the skin for hours, and that odd mix of ylang-ylang with the smoked tea is genuinely unlike anything else in my collection.
The smoked tea note dries down beautifully against the malt and mandarin, and it lasts a solid eight hours on my skin. The violet adds just enough softness that it never feels heavy, even in warmer weather. This is the kind of woody resinous scent I keep reaching for.
