The pimenta and nutmeg give this a warm spiciness that lingers on my sweater for hours. I've never smelled a cypress note done this softly before. Wearing it on cool evenings has become a small ritual.
The Dominican orange opening is brighter than I expected for something this resinous, and within twenty minutes it settles into a warm cedar and cypress drydown that lasts most of my workday. I've worn it in cool weather mostly, and it never turns sharp on my skin.
I was worried the pimenta and nutmeg would make this smell like a candle, but the Dominican orange keeps it bright and wearable. Six hours in, the resin and cedarwood sit close to the skin in the best way.
