Op het eiland zijn er psychedelische plekken en geuren, sublieme sferen die alleen de hitte kan geven, de warmte van de wind, de lichte geur van citrus, van yuzu-limonade, dag en nacht, aan de horizon.
'Isola is een frisse geur, als een blikje yuzu gedronken in de zomer op de straten van Tokio. Isola is als een koele limonade gedronken in de Siciliaanse zomerhitte, kijkend naar de zee aan de horizon, vol licht en reflecties, onze blije blik gebaad in zonneschijn en zout zeewater. Isola is mijn keer naar het licht. Frisse noten en afwezigheid van duisternis, dit is Meo's grote olfactorische revolutie in dit parfum, de grote uitdaging. Om het geluk van een onvergetelijke zomer te vertellen door een frisse yuzu-limonade. Ik had een wens, om dit gevoel oneindig te maken. Nu is alles waar.'

The yuzu opening is so sharp and clean it feels like peeling a citrus fruit in slow motion, and the dry-down into creamy tonka and white tea lasts a solid six hours on my skin. I've worn it to work and out to dinner, and it somehow fits both without shouting.
