Beschrijving Op 4000 meter boven zeeniveau, met zijn besneeuwde gletsjers en ongerepte meren, stromen rivieren door diepe Himalayavalleien, dichtbebost met majestueuze, torenhoge Deodar-bomen. Op deze grote hoogte biedt de Vallei van Kasjmir een uniek adembenemend landschap. De weilanden, die een thuis zijn voor een diverse reeks planten, worden elke zomer bedekt met wilde, zeldzame blauwe papavers en Kasjmiri-saffraan.
