The watermelon and cassis opening is so unexpected for a fougère, it smells juicy for the first twenty minutes before the jasmine and green notes settle in. By hour two it's mostly soft leather and dry woods on me, which is exactly what I wanted. Cécile Zarokian really nailed the balance here.

That saffron and leather combo in the drydown is what sold me—it keeps the fruit from going too sweet. Lasted a solid eight hours on my skin, which is rare for a fougère on me. Genuinely tempted to buy a backup bottle.

I wasn't expecting the watermelon and cassis to work with leather, but somehow this fougère pulls it off beautifully. It's been my go-to for evenings out for two months now, and the saffron keeps it from smelling like anything else in my collection.
