Description Quai Saint-Bernard, near the Jardin des Plantes in Paris. The first couples arrive at the Tino-Rossi garden. As the night falls, the number of dancers increases and the bleachers fill up. Under the silver moon and the lights of the tourist barges that crisscross the quay a few meters away, the bodies mingle to the rhythm of the music. It is then that two glances cross paths. A discreet invitation brings them to the centre of the track. As if they were carried away, they dance in the heat of the night. From this hand-to-hand seduction punctuated by knowing smiles, they end up slipping away to give free flow to more carnal desires. In the early morning, the sheets give off a scent of sleepless nights, mischievous and lascivious embraces.
Gris Charnel is not only a shop favorite, as it has been attracting more and more attention from social media, forums, and word-of-mouth over the years for good reason. Long before the extrait version of Gris Charnel was released we clocked this beautiful scent as a masterpiece with mass appeal that also has the distinction of being a truly unique composition. From the beautifully rendered and unique take on a dark fig to the undeniably comforting use of cardamom and black tea, there are so many elements of this perfume that sing along together in perfect harmony it is undoubtedly one of those 'you had to be there' creations destined for a long and impacting legacy.

Emily ★★★★★

The cardamom and iris drydown is what sold me — it stays close to the skin for hours without ever feeling sharp. I've worn it to dinner and to work and it fits both without shouting.

The fig and black tea in the opening caught me off guard at first, but once the cardamom and iris settled in it turned into something warm and softly spicy. I've worn it to dinner twice now and gotten asked what I'm wearing both times.
