Description An ancient name for the island of Sardinia, ichnusa means footprint and refers to the characteristic shape of the beautiful island. Ichnusa is inspired by the aroma of the scrublands of Sardinia and transports the wearer to the Mediterranean scrublands where the sea meets the earth. It is the wild scent of myrtle and madrona shrubs swept up by the mistral.

I was worried madrona would read too sharp, but it's the green herbs that soften everything into something almost Mediterranean. Two sprays on my wrist lasted a full workday, which is rare for a woods fragrance. Myrtle keeps it from turning sweet, and I keep catching my own sleeve.

The fig leaf and myrtle come through right away, green and a little bitter, then it settles into this warm woody thing on my skin. Lasted a solid eight hours on me, which I didn't expect from something so green. Worth every penny.
