Cistus is a note that lingers like heat on the skin. Cistus is resin tapped from a wild Mediterranean shrub. Sticky, golden, intense. It smells of labdanum but brighter- amber with a sunlit edge. Smoky, mineral, with leathery undertones that ground the sweetness.
