Showcasing the precious wood species harvested sustainably for the first time in perfume history in the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical Queensland, Silky Woods is a delightful and delicate yet very sensual blend that captures Australia's sensorial experience.

The perfume is a more subtle, luxe, and modern interpretation of agarwood (also called oud). One that is delightful to wear on any occasion and which offers a sensation of a distinctive gourmand and musky fragrance on a silky smooth skin.

The vanilla in this is not sweet at all, it's dark and almost boozy next to the tobacco leaf. Wore it to dinner and could still smell the suede and agarwood on my sleeve the next morning.

The saffron and incense opening is smoky and a little medicinal at first, but once the suede and vanilla settle in it turns warm and slightly sweet. I get about seven hours on skin, longer on a scarf. It's quickly become my cold-weather signature.
