Description Belladonna is a sweet-smelling poison with a rich tradition in Italy going back to ancient times when Livia used it to poison Emperor Augustus. Literally translating to "beautiful woman", medieval Italian women would put droplets into their eyes to dilate their pupils as they believed this made them appear more attractive; this would cause hallucinations, or in Wiccan terms, a "flying spell". It is often equated with aggressive female sexuality and was used by Northern Italian witches (streghe) to place seduction spells on men. Our Belladonna lures you in and then burns you with her hellfire, thanks to the accord, styrax pyrogene.

Hazel Y. ★★★★★

The tuberose and violet water combo is way more wearable than I expected, not nearly as heavy as some white florals I've tried. It settles into this soft plum and orris drydown that lasts through a whole workday. Genuinely one of the best blind buys I've made.

The cognac and honey notes give this a warmth that keeps the tuberose from going full funeral-home floral on me. Lasted a solid eight hours on skin, and the plum in the opening is genuinely juicy rather than syrupy. Easily the most interesting thing in my rotation right now.
