The new Montabaco Verano, with a dash of grapefruit and cashmeran, brings a touch of vitality to the classic scent. Considered a bespoke item and hand-poured into each bottle, Verano is housed in a stunning new blue bottle, available exclusively to the US market until March 2021 which thereafter, the color will be available to the rest of the world.

The air note up top keeps this from smelling heavy even with the leather, and the grapefruit gives it a brightness I wasn't expecting. I've been wearing it to the office and it holds up all day without being loud. Genuinely my favorite pickup this year.

The juniper and clary sage give it a dry, almost gin-like sharpness that I really like, and the citrus opening is bright without being loud. My only gripe is that the leather base fades on my skin after four or five hours, so I end up reapplying by evening.
