Ilha de Lopud, Mar Adriático.

Lopud é uma ilha sempre verde, com exuberantes pomares de figos e oliveiras junto ao mar. Do porto, salpicado de villas de pedra renascentistas, o aroma de figo e azeitonas esmagadas é tão intenso que a brisa salgada o transporta para além do porto, em direção a florestas de pinheiro e cipreste mediterrânicos. Acima, capelas antigas que vigiam o porto como sentinelas estão cobertas de tomilho selvagem, funcho e alecrim. Toda a paisagem é um paraíso aromático de figo verde, agulhas de pinheiro secas, ervas silvestres e o subtil aroma a frutos secos do azeite.
