I was worried the gardenia would go soapy on me, but it stays creamy and soft against the mandarin. Six hours in, the tonka and patchouli are still humming on my wrist.
That dry cedar and guaiac wood base is what sold me — it keeps the mandarin from going syrupy on my skin. Six hours in and the patchouli is still humming along, which is rare for something this resinous.
I've been wearing this for about a month and the gardenia and jasmine heart is what keeps pulling me back. On my skin the patchouli and guaiac wood stay warm and resinous for a good six hours before it softens into that tonka base.
