Descrição "A minha principal inspiração para Splendiris veio de um poema escrito pelo meu pai: 'Escrevo à luz de velas, envolto em muitas camadas de sonhos.' Escolhi a íris como a matéria-prima ideal para basear a minha composição, devido às várias camadas olfativas que ela engloba.

Splendiris apresenta a exuberante manteiga de íris como ingrediente principal, tão luminosa e esplêndida como um campo florido em plena floração, rodeado por citrinos doces e flores preciosas (rosa de maio, jasmim sambac, violeta). Com a cor púrpura em mente, uma cor que associo fortemente a sonhos, tentei realçar todas as facetas do meu magnífico ingrediente principal - floral, gourmand e terroso. Com uma base de baunilha, âmbar cinzento e madeiras aromáticas, pretendi que Splendiris fosse simultaneamente glamoroso e misterioso, tão sensual quanto reconfortante." -Pissara Umavijani

The blood orange opening is so bright it almost fizzes, then it settles into this soft powdery rose after twenty minutes or so. I've worn it to dinner twice and both times someone leaned in to ask what it was. The vanilla in the drydown is gentle, not sugary at all.

I was worried the orris butter would make this feel powdery and dated, but it settles into something soft and slightly earthy instead. The May rose stays present for hours without turning soapy on my skin, which almost never happens with florals on me.

The orris butter is what sold me, soft and a little powdery without turning grandma-ish. Wore it to a dinner and my sister kept leaning in asking what it was. Lasts about six hours on me, which is plenty.
