The aged patchouli and sandalwood blend into a warm, creamy base that lasts well past eight hours on my skin. That opening bergamot gives it a fresh sparkle, but it's the resinous depth that keeps pulling me back for another sniff.
The dry-down is where this really shines—that aged patchouli and New Caledonian sandalwood melt into something creamy and warm that lasts well past dinner. The lavender opening is sharp and green but never soapy, which I wasn't expecting from a fougère.
I was a little nervous about a fougère with this many notes, but the lavender and bergamot open so bright and clean, and the dry-down to that warm tonka and sandalwood is just gorgeous. It's the kind of scent that makes me keep sniffing my own wrist hours later.
