I was worried the date and plum would make this too sweet, but the patchouli and tolu balsam keep it grounded and resinous. It wears close for the first hour, then the frangipani softens everything into something warm and skin-like. Been reaching for it most evenings since it arrived.
The blood orange opening is bright without being sharp, and it dries down to this warm date and patchouli combo that lasts most of my workday. I've worn it three times this week and keep catching whiffs of the frangipani hours later.
