The cardamom hits first and then it settles into this warm sandalwood after about twenty minutes. I've been wearing it to the office and it's subtle enough for daytime but still lasts until I get home.
The iris and violet give it this powdery softness that I didn't expect from a woody scent, but the santal keeps it grounded. Wore it to dinner and my friend kept leaning in asking what I had on.
The cardamom keeps it from going too sweet, and the iris reads cool rather than powdery on my skin. Wore it to a dinner and got asked twice what it was.
