I’d heard amber-patchouli blends could be heavy, but the bergamot and sweet orange keep this one surprisingly airy on the skin for the first hour. The drydown gets warm and woody with that tonka bean and musk — easily my favorite pick from this season.
The osmanthus and ylang-ylang hit bright and floral up top, but it’s that patchouly-amber drydown that keeps pulling me back in. I’ve worn it three days straight and the sillage is just right without shouting.
That warm amber and sandalwood base lingers for hours on my skin, but it’s the bright osmanthus and ylang-ylang up top that keep it from feeling heavy. Got a compliment from a stranger at the grocery store, which never happens with my other scents.
