The smoky vetiver and frankincense really anchor this in a darker direction from what I usually try, and the iris adds just enough softness to balance it. Lasts surprisingly well on my skin for something described as experimental. One spritz fills the room without being loud.
The frankincense and pink peppercorn hit immediately, sharp and almost smoky, but the Indian sandalwood underneath keeps it warm rather than harsh. I sprayed it on my coat cuff this morning and caught whiffs of that leather note for a solid eight hours.
The dry-down is where this really shines—the Indian sandalwood and soft leather blend into something warm and almost creamy, while the bergamot keeps the opening bright.
