I expected the chamomile to make this too soft, but the cypress and vetiver keep it sharp and green the whole way through. That dry paper note in the base is what sold me — it's like opening an old book in a garden. Six hours in and it's still humming on my wrist.
I was worried the paper note would make this feel cold, but it dries down into the warmest cedar and vetiver. Wore it to a dinner and two people asked what I had on.
The chamomile and carrot seed combo gives this a soft, almost tea-like opening before the cypress and vetiver take over. I've been wearing it to work three days a week and it's become my default daytime scent.
