I was worried the civet would go sour on my skin but it just adds this warm, lived-in depth under the incense. The seawater note keeps it from getting heavy, which is rare for a chypre. Wore it to dinner and kept catching my own wrist all night.
The rhubarb and grapefruit open so bright and tart, then it settles into something mossy and a little dirty from the civet. Wore it to dinner and my friend kept leaning in to sniff my wrist. Genuinely unlike anything else on my shelf.
