The incense and myrrh drydown is what sold me, smoky and churchy without going full ash. Wore it to dinner and my wife kept leaning in. Six hours in it's still humming along on my wrist.
The black pepper and cardamom opening grabbed me right away, much sharper than I expected from a woody scent. Give it twenty minutes and the tobacco and leather settle in beautifully. Wore it to dinner and got two compliments before the appetizers arrived.
The incense and sandalwood dry-down on this is unreal — smoky but smooth, never churchy. I wore it to dinner and got asked twice what I had on.
