The ylang-ylang and neroli keep this from turning into a straight-up orange scent, which is what I was worried about. It wears close for the first hour, then the vanilla and amber creep in and it lasts a full workday on my skin.
The mandarin opening is so bright and juicy it almost smells like peeling one fresh, then it settles into this warm vanilla and amber base that lasts a full workday on me. I've worn it in summer heat and it never turns sharp or soapy. Genuinely the most complimented scent I own.
